Community Projects
The Stoke on Trent Museums Outreach Team aims to make the museums inclusive and accessible, by providing exhibitions and fun activities to help with the understanding of the museum collections. This includes our very popular digital art workshops and Stoke Your Fires, Stoke on Trent’s Festival of Animation. We also take activities out to people who are unable to visit the museums, including residential homes and prisons. We think it is important for local residents to know that the museums are great places to visit with lots of activities to do, so the Outreach Team can sometimes be seen at community events, demonstrating the things that are going on inside the museums.
Have a look at the different projects listed on the left to see what we are up to and check out Things to do for ways that you can be involved in what’s happening at the museums.
If you or your group want to get involved with a project at the museum e-mail museums@stoke.gov.uk
We would also be pleased to hear your your comments, feedback and suggestions about our service.
